The Apricot Grove Alumni Program

Dear Alumni of The Apricot Grove,

We're excited to announce that on July 25th, the Apricot Grove Alumni Program launches. If you are one of our past students, you can join early: the Alumni Membership Program opens today.

The Alumni Program answers a question we've heard for years: how can I stay in touch and keep learning after the course ends?

Who it's for: the Alumni Program is open to everyone who has completed our online course, whenever you studied with us and however long the program ran at that time. Practicums are wonderful, but not required, completing the online course itself is the one prerequisite.

The Apricot Grove is an active text archaeology site. The work of recovering this medicine from the earliest texts is ongoing, and new discoveries are continually woven into the course content. If you took the class in an earlier year, significant advances have been made since you studied with us. There is more here now than the course you remember.

Membership Comes in Three Tiers

Alumni Community

$0, no charge, ever

Included:

  • Access to our new Circle community space, for alumni of every year
  • A place to continue your interactions and learning with fellow students

Tier 1 — Self-Study

$35/month

Included:

  • Everything in the Alumni Community
  • Access to all recorded classes of the most recent cohort (2024–26)
  • Attend a monthly live Alumni meeting with Dr. Neal to address questions that arise

Tier 2 — All-Access Pass

$135/month

Included:

  • Everything in Tier 1, plus full access to any current live classes
  • Access the complete recorded library of the most recent two-year course (2024–26)
  • Join the current live weekend classes, as they happen
  • Participate in the class discussion forums
  • Attend a monthly live Alumni meeting with Dr. Neal to address questions that arise

In essence, Tier 2 lets you retake the entire two-year course, or revisit any part of it, while keeping access to previous years' material. Your access begins as soon as you join. The incoming 2026–28 class holds its first live weekend on Saturday, August 8th.

Monthly Live Q&A

Both Tier 1 and Tier 2 include a monthly live meeting on the last Sunday of every month with Dr. Neal to address any questions that come up. The first one, on Sunday, August 30th, is open to all alumni, members or not. We'll walk through the new alumni program, answer your questions, and simply say hello.

Membership Terms

Memberships may be started or cancelled at any time, or switched between tiers whenever you like. Prefer to pay for the year? Choose the annual option at checkout and get one month free: $385/year for Tier 1, $1,485/year for Tier 2. These are founding rates. Any future price changes will apply to new members first.
